Dakota Ojibway Health Services

Dakota Ojibway Tribal Council (DOTC) has offered member First Nation communities with Dakota Ojibway Health Services (DOHS). This service provides a number of programs to provide resources and assist the communities with various health issues affecting their people.

The mandate by the Council of Chiefs is granted to the Dakota Ojibway Health Services to undertake issues and make recommendations on matters related to specific health issues in response to an identified need for development of structure within Dakota Ojibway Health Services.

The mandate as ratified by the Council of Chiefs provides oversight capacity to the Dakota Ojibway Health Services Health Board with direct management and administration of policy for all health staff under the Director of Health Services.
